Worlds Humanitarian Day 2023

On the 19th of August 2023, Life Transformation for Africa Initiative –LIFT4Africa joined rest of the World to mark Worlds Humanitarian Day 2023, by providing basic medical services to indigenous people of Ohekelem community at Ngor Opkala Imo State.

With this Lift4Africa kicked off it’s Health for All Project, which is a project aimed to reach out to 75 deserving communities in Imo State, by providing basic medical services.

Our goal is to;

1. Create awareness on the prevalence of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.

2. Free medical Screening for blood sugar and blood pressure (to identify those with either Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and blood pressure).

3. Provide free medication for blood pressure and diabetes

4. Through our partnership with Imo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, improve in-patient visit and usage of the Primary Healthcare Centres/Facilities in Imo State.

Humanitarians have no other purpose than to save and protect lives and deliver the basic necessities of life, they stand shoulder to shoulder with the communities they serve and bring hope.

In partnership with Steve Happiness Foundation, Insulin for Life USA and other stakeholders, we strive to meet ever-growing global needs. No matter the danger or the hardship, as humanitarians venture deep into disaster-stricken regions and on the front lines of conflict, strive to save and protect people in need.

Thanks to Insulin for Life USA for making this a possibility!
