Chiemezie Ezeani

Lift4Africa – Founder & Executive Director

The decay in Nigeria primary healthcare system, most especially in the rural areas, (which was a contributory factors that led to my Dads death), the wide gap in gender parity/poor participation of women in active politics and elective positions, the poor leadership orientation and system of Governance, and the recent increase in cyber crime among youths, was the driving force in the establishment of LIFT4Africa.

Chiemezie Ezeani a bachelor degree graduate, studied Philosophy at Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. He is a certified Human Resource, and Health, Safety and Environment personnel, and also, a one time President of the Educational Unit of Consumer Protection Council (CPC —a Community Development Service (CDS) Group) at Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria. During this period he volunteered as an Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer with Better Life Restoration Initiative (BERI) a Non Governmental Organization that focuses on Education, Health and Good governance.

As a volunteer Assistant M&E Officer at BERI, he was deeply involved and part of the Northern Education Initiative Plus (NEI+) project team (a USAID funded project that provides education to Out-of-School children in Bauchi and Sokoto State respectively). He was part of the project team that worked at Shira Local Government Area of Bauchi State which provided Literacy, Numeracy, Life Skills and Livelihood Training for over 20,000 children in hard-to-reach rural communities of Shira. His poise and unwaivering commitment earned him automatic employment as the substantive Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of BERI.

Currently, Chiemezie is the Executive Director of LIFT4Africa, one the fastest growing Non Governmental Organisation in South East Nigeria. “I believe with the support of the general public, relevant stakeholders, our Board Members and Team of Advisors, LIFT4Africa would grow to become one of the strongest NGOs involved in transforming lives and making positive impact in Nigeria and the World at large”
